card was skimmed just after i had got back and used that same ATM. Fortunately it sounded like not much was taken from theirs (my cousin had thousands taken from his credit card from Africa, but I believe all sorted out well by the bank).
I deliberately picked the Commonwealth thinking it would be safer ha ha ha. I noticed the card slot had a bit of crack in it and saw a camera hole in the top left (I am a suspicious sole and suss out the atm before using it). So I completely covered the keypad when typing in my pin with my bag and other hand, and had no problems with extra withdrawals from my card. I must admit that I do this back home in Oz too, I just think you cant be too careful as the crooks are clever buggas. Also I always wait to make sure the ATM doesnt have a "do you want another transaction window" before I leave as I know of someone who got caught this way by the next user who did a withdrawal.
