once their holiday period starts. I remember staying at the melasti beach resort 2 years ago around this time and its the crowded brekky buffets and busy streets and getting stuck in traffic. In the end we didn't bother catching taxis and just walked alot more.
Kuta and Legian beaches were very busy and the main road along the beach was always deadlocked full of cars, bikes etc and traffic was at a crawl. A good time to get fit from all the walking!!!!
other than the traffic it is still a fantastic time to be in Bali
