We went to Shoot in Legian Road, just up from Mama's - German place on the same side. We went there and picked the 1m x 1m collage that was up on the wall. We came back later that arvo and sat down with one the of the computer guys upstairs, and took my digital camera with shots from the holiday. You need about 20-30 shots to fill this size - you pick the ones you especially like and they make them a touch bigger. We also 'bought' off them a couple of standard shots, ie big surf wave and some frangipani's to fill in the holes. We put a nice saying on the bottom in script writing with date and BALI on it. We came back 3 hours later, they got me to check it, they packaged it beautifully to carry on plane and voila!
Since being home I have taken it to a framers to put the frame on. Best price I could get was in Wangara for $110. They thought it was amazing and called the boys from out the back to show them. Havent picked it up yet, but imagine it will look amazing. Cost 1.1million for the rolled up canvas including all the editing. We also got a small one done of dad and bub in pool as a test first and got it framed there - 285,000Rp - wonderful, carried on plane with frame and all. Straight on the wall. Checked out Kmarts prices yesterday and for the same thing - more than double. I have left my email open.
