when she had an ear infection back from Bali and the infection was in the early stages. She has since had five sets of grommets so we know all about them. Five days is enough time for a normal recovery but just in case ask if it would be wise to take a second bottle of antibiotics with you, elevate the end of the bed slightly ( put a few books or rugs under the mattress) to stop the pressure building up at night when it hurst most and I would check out Aqua Ear. If it is okay for babies, thenuse it after every swim. It is for an outer ear infection and not a middle ear infection but swimmers ears are very common after swimming in Bali pools as we don't manage to drain all the water out of the ear and the pool hygiene is good but not as good as what you are used to.

Have a great holiday. Your baby will be a tourist attraction for the locals.
