on our june trip one of the girls got really quite sick - started off diarrhoea - vomiting - fever. She really was unwell - day 3 I think a Doc was called to the hotel - injection, and two types of prescribed medicines were given. She was still unwell when she arrived back in Australia - it was really quite a horrible ending to the trip. She lost 6kg in weight. When she went to the Doctor back here in australia he advised that the medicines go in the bin - they were totally useless he said ! So she got quite a shock as the doctor had seemed very professional. She was able to laugh in wonder at what the injection was she was given !!!!
I hope this was a one off but not a good experience
