is a strong antibiotic,but be sure there are no allergies before you just go buy it over the counter. I was prescribed this back home and within minutes i had a life threatening reaction...but thats me and i'm allergic to lots of drugs:( unfortunately trial and error. advise your friend to see a doctor if it's more than just a few runny poos over a couple of days,thats why you get travel insurance to cover your @ss!!
