The rules of pronunciation are always the same. ng is always pronounced as in ring, not as in finger. That would require ngg. i is always ee and e can be either e as in egg or e pronounced the same as the first o in tomato if that makes any sense. More a soft er sound. I will check with my Bahasa Indonesia teacher on exact pronunciation tomorrow night, but these rules should apply any way. Kerrie
