Just read this in the West Australian and thought it might apply to Bali. They might import the bits from China and that could be why they are so much cheaper than in Australia?

Warning On Dental Bits Given
Some cheap dental prosthetics from laboratories in Asia were believed to contain toxic heavy metals banned in Australia, Oral Health Professionals Association Colege of Dental Technicians president Robert Bosher said.
A single crown costing about $1300 could be made in China then imported legally for $100 -$250 because such imports were not regulated.
