I thought this would be the easiest way too, but I have ended up with a pile of paintings (canvasses) that I will now have to stretch onto frames myself (because it costs so much to pay someone here to do it).
My purchases are not the 'standard' sizes of the blank canvas frames you can buy at home, you see. It would mean cutting bits off the side of the canvas, which would spoil the painting.
Better to jot down a list of standard frame measurements from home - and double check before paying 500,000 to 1,000,000 for a large painting there.
