hi rider,
i have just come back from a week in bali, wish i was still there.. where are you staying? if you aren't in the Kuta/Legian area you won't have any trouble. if you are walking thru there at night time you will get asked as you walk past - sex, huchi chooch, mushrooms etc but you basically just ignore them and keep walking. don't even look at them... they won't cause you any troubles if you just keep walking. you will also get during the day mostly from the men trying to give you scratchie cards i don't know what they were for as i just said NO and kept walking
as for things to do outdoors we went up the mountains and went quad bike riding thru villages - awesome fun to see the villages was amazing experience. then we went to the Bali Safari & Marine Park a must do if you like to get up close and personal with animals, we had our photo taken with an Organtang and got to play with him for about 5 mins'.
if you want to do things like watersports you can head down to Nusa Dua they have heaps of water activities to do. there is plenty to do in bali depending on what suits you. ask at reception at your hotel and they will let you know. if you have arranged transfers from airport to hotel ask your guide - Baliense are always willing to help you out.
if you love seafood head to Jimbaran Bay you'll see what i mean when you get there..
hope this helps and hope you have a great trip
