A family of 4 travelled from Perth. Mum and Dad and 3.5yr boy and an 18mnth old girl
We used Jetstar with a pretty uneventful flight. ( well as much as it could be travelling with two little ones.)

VOA
VOA lines were really long and having the 18mnth old fallen asleep just coming into to land was not much fun. She stayed asleep the whole time(Amazing. Lucky an official waved us thru to the front of the queues. ( I dont think dads arms would have coped carrying an extra 13kgs for too long) So we were out and in a taxi within 40mins.

HOTEL
Rama Garden is where we stayed. Had to change rooms after the first night due to putting us in a single beds. But the staff were lovely and couldnt do enough for you. We had a deluxe room and with a king bed a single, plus a cot it was a bit of a squeeze. But great to step out and be right on the pool.
Spent many a days and nights with kids sleeping and us lounging around the pool. I probably wouldn't choose this hotel again. Just due to the room size. But could not fault the staff at all. And they just loved the kids. As we met freinds over there this is where they were staying.

TAILOR
Had some clothes made at House of Komang. Very happy. Had taken some denim over and got some jeans copied. Just perfect.

SHOPPING
Did the usual Garlic Lane and the kids now have a summer wardrobe of Billabong and Roxy tshirts and shorts.
Also did Mathari and bought a years supply of makeup.
Carrefour is just great. I left Dad and kids in the Timezone thing at the entrance and they wasted an hour or so while I went off shopping.
Did Geneva of course and also Unagi. Still think Geneva is better even though the stock is dusty.
Bought a couple of beautiful dresses from Indigo kids. Quality great.
But my favourite shopping buy was some frammed canvas's done by Shoot Bali. I had 3 done in all. And quality is just great. One was a collage and they did all the editing for this and for the price compared to Aus you can't do better.

EATING
Kids loved Indo National. Only for the toys and spaghetti.
But my favourite was Drops on Padma st. Had a kid free meal here and it was just lovely. Great food and good ambience.
Sarpinos on Padma also became a local. Did takeaway pizza and was really useful when kids were sleeping and we still hadn't eaten.
Legends was great night out as well.

All in all a great holiday but very hard work at times with 2 very full on kids and having the locals just love kids it always took so long to get anywhere as they all wanted to stop and chat to the kids.
But just love Bali people, Bintang and lifestyle. Will be travelling back next year.
