From Bali, it cost us around US$100 each for a return flight to Lombok last Feb. Time of year is a consideration when choosing which coast to settle on though. You want a nice postcard type beach out the front of your hotel right?
Kuta, Lombok on the south coast is very nice, and is a great area to stay in during the wet season (Oct-Apr). We stayed at the Novotel Hotel, which is styled in the traditional 'Sasak' form of archicture, but is a very modern resort. Beautiful honeymoon suites are available for around US$150 a night. There is great snorkling, surfing, and sailing out the front of the hotel too. It feels remote, being the only resort in the area, although there is a friendly village down the road with great local cuisine, and any supplies you may need. We loved it!....
