Hi, just to let you know the visa is actually valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If and when the visa is approved it will have a date your Balinese friend must arrive in Australia before. I applied for visa in May for my partner and he isn't travelling til end of November.
Good luck process isn't as bad as it seems! Just have more then enough evidence.
