Did this two years ago. Ask one of the shops if they bought gold and they said no. About 1 minute later I was approched by two girls. They checked the gold and weighed and made me an offer. I had bought this gold from this street years before and knew what I had paid for it. As their offer was more than what I had paid I was happy with their offer. When I handed over a Singapore bought bracelet I wasn't happy with the price and straight away they offered more. Stupid me didn't know you could bargain for a better price. Not to worry I was happy to get more than what I paid. Last year I went to sell a chain bought two years ago and couldn't get any of the ladies to show any interest. I approached the ladies sitting out front but they said they didn't buy gold (buggered if I know why they were sitting there). The shop that I bought earings from offered me half of what I paid so I still have the chain. The money man turns up and he pays you. Just watch the hawkers when this is going on as they try to sell you things knowing you have that money.
