beaches-not really beaches thought they are rebuilding. There is the white beach just down the road (about 5km) well worth visiting for swimming. can go out on boats snorkelling at CD. Can find spots on the remaining beach aea for sunbathing and cooling off.
best area- depends what you want
hotels and villas- what price
about 2-3 hours from sanur (my driving!)
limited nightlife- some small bars and restaurants- heard that Queens has reopened recently and may have bands etc
not many shops, not many hawkers. Two small supermarkets, few shops, occassionally someone selling sunglasses and watches.
