Hi Madj, we stay at a villa in Tanjung Benoa regularly. Basically it adjoins Nusa Dua, where the Peninsula is you are virtually in Nusa Dua, but ND does expand quite a way. There's a Hardy's supermarket on the corner of Jl Pratama (main road where your hotel is) and the Ring Road which has huge selection, but there are a couple of smaller supermarkets nearer to your hotel. One is Coco's (probably the best of the smaller ones) and another called Area Jaya Mini Market, No 81 Jl Pratama, thats also pretty good. Bintang I'd probably go for Hardy's (taxi required). There are some markets, within 10-15 mins walk I think from your location. There are a lot of restaurants and also warungs around to eat at (warungs usually cheaper). DVD shops aren't so plentiful that I've noticed, but there is a guy who you can pre-order from and he'll deliver to you. Heaps of watersports in Tanjung Benoa. Some lovely beaches. We like Yasa Segara beach & restaurant there you can eat at relatively cheaply sitting with toes in the sand. I do have quite a bit of information typed up...if you want to email me I can send you some. We like Tanjung Benoa, its a nice mix of a fishing village and with villas and hotel and the beauty of Nusa Dua right there as well. Not crazy busy like Kuta/Legian (which we also enjoy) but nice for a relaxing holiday! I have a map also I can email you... pottsy1@iinet.net.au if you'd like more info. Cheers :)
