and couldn't be happier.

this was our second stay at the Sanur Beach and were impressed by the quality for the price..
The hotel was fully booked yet we were still able to get our rooms 2 hours before the official check in time.
The rooms were always clean, well serviced and every thing - from the air-con to the hot water and tv worked. Ice was promptly delivered by room service and there were no hassles when we checked out - smooth, polite and efficient.

The facilities were also excellent - huge pools that were never crowded ( with 100% occupancy this can produce problems) and excellent breakfasts - the egg lady provided a free show of her culinary talents every morning. Friends travelling with us who are gym junkies also loved the free air-conditioned gym.
There is also a free shuttle down to Hardy's supermarket and a free shuttle to and from Kuta.

While we didn't eat at the hotel restaurants the beach side warungs literally next door plus the other brilliant options just outside or down the road make it the ideal place for us

We don't look for luxury when we travel but on the other hand I won't stay anywhere down market just for the sake of saving $20 a night either.

Prior to travelling to Sanur we stayed at the fabulous Tegal Sari and we certainly didn't feel we had gone to an inferior hotel.

You can always find fault with a hotel - reading some trip advisor reports you might be forgiven for thinking that getting an effusive welcome from the concierge was the most important component of a trip. I have always found the staff at the Sanur Beach to be polite, efficient and above all very professional - qualities that are always sufficient for me.

Hope this helps.
