We imported a variety of goods from Java and Bali for a number of years, most seriously concentrating on high quality, outdoor furniture from central Java which was sold via major department stores in Australia. Our freight agent early on was Harry Kellerman whom we know is still freighting from Bali.. do a search in the forum archives for his current details as he is your "duty" included option for delivery to Aus.
However, I am convinced you will not get "animal" product through customs, even with fumigation. I may be wrong but I would check with Customs before you even proceed with this process.
