On my virgin ticket it states:
Guest who are Velocity Silver members or are travelling on Flexible fares are entitled to a free checked baggage allowance of up to 23kgs. Guest who are Velocity Gold members or travelling on Corporate Plus & Premiun Economy Fares are entitled to a free checked baggage allowance of up to 23kgs. Guests are not required to purchase checked baggage allowance for flights operated by Skywest.
If your like me a Red member $8 pre booked will get you 23kgs
