Luggage

Hi all,

I'm weighing up between 2 soft backpacks or one large case on wheels (my wife will go for wheels). Never been to Bali, but from other travels to SEA / Latin America / Africa I'm guessing wheeled luggage may be impractical due to uneven surfaces.

What style of luggage do you recommend / prefer?
