It has been our experience that when travelling with children (all over the world) the promised 'adjoining' rooms are often "sorry not available" when you check in which results in parents have to split up and sleep in different rooms - not very romantic on holiday LOL!! For this reason when the kids were younger we stuck to apartments :-)
