It seems that the VIP VOA service has degenerated into using Jockeys. These Jockeys will hold a place in the queue for you until you reach the counter and hand over your passport.

"Jockey" is now a well known term in Indonesia.

Rich students hire Jockeys to sit exams for them.

Where there is a traffic regulation that only cars with a passenger can use a particular lane, Jockeys wait at the entrance to the lane, jump into the car, collect a fee and get out of the car when the lane ends.

I will be standing in the queue next month and not employing a Jockey.
