We also had the pleasure? of staying at the Kuta Beach Club 25 July to 2 Aug, It was our first and last time staying at this establishment, it is true the rooms were cleaned well each day but sometimes not till after 2pm. The room (218) was very spartan and a paint job and slightly quieter airconditioners wouldnt go astray. (We heard a few residents complaining abput their noisy airconditioners
As far as breakfast goes it was the poorest i have seen in a hotel of this standard, you had a choice of fruit, tean and coffee, corn flakes, 2 fruit juices, eggs any way you like them, toast, 3 indonesian dishes and if you were in the KNOW you could ask for bacan as it didnt go on show as it might upset their Muslim residents from Java, most hotels tend to have a choice of cereals as well as tomatoes, hash browns, baked beans and mushrooms as a minimum.
The staff we found on the whole to be fairly friendly but service tended to be very slow they were often out of pool towels and you would wait 15 to 20 mins for the pool attendant to turn up and when there was only 10 or 12 people in the pool there didnt seem any logic for the delay. It was also not uncommon to see 2 or 3 staff members chatting with each other around the hotel where at other establishment staff look to be work all the time

I am glad you enjoyed your stay there but for us it will be somewhere that knows how to look aafter its guests properly
