when you wake up in the morning ,place an empty coke bottle or rolling pin on the floor and roll it back and forth with the base of your feet, especially your arches. This gently stretches and loosens the Plantar Fascia and prevents that "walking on broken glass" painful sensation that usually subsides after about 20 steps.
Bare in mind the best thing you can do is take away the causes of plantar fasciitis by having good arch support in your footwear. Sorry I cant answer your question re bali but I hope this helps
