The regulations about 100 ml bottles of liquids only apply to carry on luggage. You can have any size bottles of liquids in your checked in baggage. Your shampoo should be in your checked in baggage.
I normally take one litre bottles of shampoo and sunscreen in my carry on luggage as sunscreen is expensive in Bali. I put them in sealed plastic bags in case they leak.
When I am returning to Australia, I throw out the shampoo and sunscreen to make way for my shopping and to avoid paying excess baggage fees.
