We bought 4 of the large lanterns back to Perth about 4 years ago. We declared them at the airport and customs offered to fumigate them for $45 for the lot. As we had got them real cheap, we were way ahead of Aus prices.
We bought them from a workshop/factory outside Mengwi. Can't remember how much we paid for them but I do remember that with the fumigation and purchase price we were about 60-70% better off than buying them here
