For the Doubting Thomases out there, got a refund today.
Our situation may be a little different though because we paid the premium fare and when we flew (June) they put us on Virgin up there and Garuda home in economy seats. Indo Jet refunded the difference - cann't argue with that. What's more, I didn't even ask for a refund!
But as I've said before, when you get all these budget airlines popping up with "to good to be true" deals you've got to accept what goes with it :- no boarding passes (delaying flight departure), no immigration cards (other planes land after you and passengers get to immigration first, you get stuck for hours), no inflight entertainment (other than other passengers "going off" their trolleys coz no service), flight time changes at the last moment, hugh excess baggage fees for being 1 kg over weight, seats that are so small circus midgets wouldn't fit in them, I can go on and on. (The above is not referring just to Indo Jet this is Jetstar, Virgin, Tiger, Air Asia - any of the budget airlines out of Perth to Asia).
Bottom line is don't whinge about a $99 airfare - "you gets what you pays for!"
