Countdown on for less than two weeks to go, yippy! We are heading up with the family for our daughters 18th, and son's 20th birthday along with a number of their friends in tow. We just love the fact that the kids have become bali tragics, just like us. Anyway being the age they are, they have all expressed the desire to hire scooters up there, much to my nervousness about it all (but hey what can I say, we were doing the same thing up there when we were their age). Anyway I want to know if you need your international drivers license to ride scooters in Bali? Also can you hire helmets? and how much does it cost? And can anyone recommend where from in the Kuta / Legian area.
