This is not a problem with any tattooist either in Bali or else where. My husband has discovered that he is alergic to Red tattoo ink. With each tattoo the reaction has become worse. The first one the red areas are raised and he refers to it as his 3D tat. On the next area he had red ink the area became infected, the colour has now gone but the area is scared. He had 3 different red inks used including one that was made from natural vegetable dyes? and he has had a reaction to all of them. Our tattooist in Bali asked around all of his friends and no one knows of anyone alergic to Red ink, but a couple had people who were alergic to other colours. This is just something that you should be aware of when having tattoos done anywhere not just in Bali. Don't know if there is any conection but hubby had a reaction to a henna tattoo done in bali about 12 months before getting the red done. All other colours he is fine with and he is planning to have some more fill in work done on his tatt and some fix up work where he has lost the outline where the red was.

Just be aware that this can and does happen.

Jane
