can I take my own beach chair and brolly

onto Kuta Beach,Legian,Dreamland,Sanur etc and make myself at home with my 2 kids.I have never seen or heard of this over my many years off travelling here and was wondering if it was ok to do.Has anyone done this themselves or have seen it,or know of someone who has...I hope you cant get arrested for it...ha ha.
