The cemetery is still there. The gates are open during the day and it is sometimes used as a walkway to the beach. Last year in Ubud, when there was a cremation for a member of the royal family, other families who could not afford their own cremation became part of this large one. I wouldn't be surprised if places were closed as the area will be filled with people. Traffic stops even for a small funeral procession and I would imagine each of the bodies would have their own procession. It should be quite a spectacle.
