Staying at the Mara was the highlight of our trip.
Its usually not my sort of thing but this park is fantastic!
Had dinner and breakfast at table 4 as suggested on this forum by a member and for sure it didn't disappoint.
First night we did the night feed,best $10 US I have ever spent!
Other than dinner and night tour we got everything for free.
The people working in the park seem to be a bit confused as to what guests staying at the Mara need to pay for!
We didn't have the wrist band like other people who came for the day so we just showed our room guest card and didn't have to pay extra for the animal holding/photo shoots etc which was a bonus.
We got the $115 US deal on Wottif and it was worth every penny when you con cider the rack rate is $220 US + 21% including breakfast and high season supplement.
Stayed in the Tandala tree house suite directly opposite the rhino(Nelson) so close we could almost touch him.
Went to the pool on the first day at 5pm and all the animals followed us,staff said we were quite lucky as they don't always do this.
This place was so good that I will book again for 2 nights next year if the Wottif prices don't go up too much. :-)
