One of my favourite beachfront restaurants (Sanur Bay) is about to get knocked down.
Go down to the beach front land either side of stiff Chilli Restaurant and see what is happening there.
Drive up near Mertasari Temple and have a look as well.
Have a look opposite the Mercure Hotel.
Drive along Jalan Bumi Ayu and have a look around you.
It all suggests that the Sanur community is actually in favour of new development.
One of the larger brothel areas along Jalan Danau Poso is up for lease very soon. I will be suprised if they build nice new brothels there.
