Most have bum bags round their waists, and some are carrying a large amount of cash for such transactions.
They will assay the gold, and sort into various purities, weigh and then offer a price.
It will be one of the few times in Bali where you will be selling something to them!!
We have done this a few times, and have been happy enough with the outcomes.
You will then have the cash to do with as you please......I am not sure what a "slave bangle" is, but it sounds like something a woman gives her husband?
