It's such a pain organising a driver - something I'd never had to do before as I am usually with my husband - he gets a car & drives. This trip though was a girl trip & hubby was long gone to his bamboo hut on a beach with superb surf elsewhere in Indonesia. M & I thought of him often while we were sipping cocktails at some flash place on the beach watching the sunset (as he tells me he does now with a beer every evening & I'm back home in cold Perth).
Anyway, we got an exey but pleasant driver, James, through Seminyak Suites & off we went pagi pagi. It was wonderful not having to navigate.
I love Pacung Indah. Unfortunately time (& accommodation bought on ebay) dictated that we weren't able to stay there this trip but at least we got to have a late brekky enjoying that superb view with Mt Agung watching over us. Certainly a "View to Dine For".
Moira & David had very kindly helped me with my problems with a jeweller, using the word "jeweller" very loosely (heaps in archives). Special, nice, very helpful people. David was at Lovina at their stunning new villas & Moi was in isolation with flu so we didn't get to see them. Meredith had been given masses of new bras so we left them for Moi together with our leftovers from Tamu Seseh Villa stay - poor ill Moi managed to force down cheeses & chocolate - she even liked the chilli chocolate! Moi has the quirkiest, most delightful sense of humour that often leaves me puzzled. One day I might figure out her running joke with G&Ts & budgies (or canaries?).
