It has not changed that much. Rudy and Lyn seem to have little interest in it ( less than before) since the loss of their daughter. All the blurb on the suites is still there but most of the sale staff have gone.
There was no arak, but that was in a lot of places. I don,t think that much has changed since christmas. I did not stay there but my friends were all there so I was visiting every day.
We are booked there next month and then for November and over Christmas and January. For us it is the central location, cheap rooms which enable us to stay twice as long as we could anywhere else, the band each night so we can put the kids to bed and go back and forth to check on them, and the always friendly staff.
It was also very busy over the last few weeks which is pretty much word of mouth, as far as I know they are still not yet taking agents bookings.
