...the thing we will miss is the living space and larger fridge - definitely a plus when you're a family of 5! we did pros & cons when we decided to change and decided that we wanted to be closer to the pool/beach rather than a 5 minute walk away (which doesn't seem much i know, but we're notorious for forgetting something and have one little man who will turn a 5 minute walk into 15!).
i also posted some time ago with similar questions and the responses i got kind of helped me make the decision to change. everyone's experience is different though.
we're going with friends (their 11th trip) and went on their advice so, we'll just have to wait and see whether we made the right choice (i hope?). they are also staying in deluxe rooms so we have requested that all our rooms are in the 300 block which apparently are near the pool?
anyway, not the end of the world - i reckon we'll have a fantastic time regardless. good luck with making your decision.
