Meeting people in Bali

Hello,

A friend and I are travelling to Bali late August until early Sept from London. There are just two of us at the moment (aged 21 and 22)so I was wondering if there is anything we should do in order to meet people whilst over there? We will be fine just thought it would be nice to have some new company rather than just each other 24/7.

Any places people would recommend for meeting people? We are planning to stay in Kuta at the beginning of our trip and would imagine this would be a greta place for meeting people. Probably going to hit up Poppies 1/2 etc.

Any tips?
