I live in Melbourne and am going to Bali in September with family from Townsville and am sooo looking forward to our 2 weeks in Paradise. My daughter in law has asked the same question as you.
In answer I have said to her : are people still travelling to the US (re: sept 11) or London.
If there was a bombing in Perth would you still not travel there without a second thought, I am sure you would.
Jakarta is NOT Bali, this is not the doing of the Balinese people but the work of evil people who reside in ALL countries of this wonderful world we live in.
