Last year, my parents who have never left the country, dont have passports, had over $5000 taken out of their account by people in France using ATMs over a one week period. The only ATMs they have ever used were in one Sydney suburb so were scimmed here. More than half of the withdrawals occurred after reporting it to 'which bank' who put a stop on the wrong account. The good news is they got all the money back fairly quickly so hope you do too.
