Looking in the past it's obvious that American brand hotels were targets. This is why I avoid American brand hotels in Asia. Of course this is no guarantee at all, if they choose "Westerners" it could easily be another popular hotel.I do stay away from the popular bars etc. which are packed in the weekends. But really do not want to think about this.
