Their security arrangements last year were very good, with guards checking all incoming cars and guests/non-guests before allowing them through the barrier. On the beach side too there is a guard on duty. I would imagine that the level of security is even tighter after the recent Jakarta bombings. I must admit, we felt less secure at the beach-side restaurants past the Jayakarta hotel and avoided these on Saturday and Sunday nights.
