We had IMHO a quite fast bike tour ride. Our group of 7 (ages from 8 to 55) did a bike ride tour in o8 and although the teens whooped (with joy) their way thru and thought it was a terrific thrill, I was terrified most of the time and felt I missed out on almost all the scenery whilst clinging to the handlebars, avoiding pot holes and then navigating some VERY narrow muddy paths right thru the middle of some rice paddies. The worst was when we approached the elephant park in Taro where the tour ended as the closer we got to the park the greater the number of deposits of elephant poo, so you just knew if you came off you would be not landing your feet or butt in anything good which added to the terror !!
So would i do it again? yes but research better and ask more questions as I can see from many different reports on here that there is a great variety of differing ride experiences and I would like to "see" more than the front of my wheel next time.
