I have never had my cc compromised using it the way I do.Then again, I only ever use it to pay the account for the villa when I am leaving, and I always stay at the same villas. These villas are the only place I have ever used my cc in Bali, and nothing has ever been suspicious or out of place with any transaction done there, touch wood *hands on my head*. :)
This is only my experience though Willow, your advice maybe very sound and I maybe extremely lucky in having a very honest young lass that handles my bookings and payments for me at the villas.
