is about 20-25 minutes car ride away from Kuta depending on the time of the day and which part of Kuta you are heading to.
Shopping depends on what you are after...Art market clothes, cheap knockoff copies, handicrafts, handbags and the like you could visit the Kuta Art Markets. You could head to Legian Street and walk the length down one side and walk back down the other and see much of the same stuff interspersed with restaurants and more up market shops selling original brand surfwear and shoes. You could head Seminyak way and spend a bit more heading into the boutique shops selling one off designer clothes. Head to one of the many fixed price market stalls will give you an idea on prices to pay. Head to Geneva or Unagi or the new one on Sunset Road (can't remember the name right now) and you have all the fixed price handicraft shopping done. If it's a supermarket you want you can't go past Carrefour for a more cleaner westernised building.
If it was me I'd head for Carrefour and get my supermarket bits out of the way, head into fixed price handicraft shop on the same road and get my gifts and homewares out of the way, a taxi ride to Miss Debbies in Garlic Lane will give you the market stall clothes and then a long stroll down Legian Road.
You'll find that one day you will probably just look and get a feel for it all.
As for Spa places at Jimbaren can't really help you, I expect anything Jimbaren way for tourists will be expensive, probably best to head into Kuta or Legian, it doesn't cost much in a taxi.
