There are 2 Gallerias - one is Kuta Galleria where the fabric shop is & not much else, although Ace Hardware is nearby.
The BALI Galleria is near the big white statue in a roundabout. Jl By Pass Ngurah Rai, Kuta. Taxi drivers know it.
There is no comparison between Discovery & Bali Galleria as far as crowds are concerned. BTW check out the bakery in Matahari before buying at Bread Talk - several items (eg baguettes & sliced brown bread) were much cheaper at Matahari.
I can have my teeth attended to at Dr Rudy, have my my hair & nails done at Johnny A, stock up on their very good hair care products, do supermarket shopping at the hypermart instead of the trek to Bintang, all in an uncrowded pleasant environment. One thing I especially like about it is that there is a courtyard in the middle.
