Bit out of the way but Patra suites have a seperate bedroom to living area for your Mum to stay in. Another option could be to stay somewhere cheaper, Puri Raja; Casa Padma or Lokha and get adjoining rooms.
My concern with a villa is watching the pool and keeping your 2yr old safe. IMO I couldn't relax which would make for a disappointing holiday.
