we chose to do the buggies/quads just as a stand alone day trip. If you are staying around Kuta. The tour pick up will be around 8.30 arriving an hour and 20mins later at the venue. There will be multiple groups moving thru the venue. Paperwork and kitting up will take anything up to 45mins. Practice laps etc 1/2hr more. Then away you go single file follow the leader. Quads are better for bigger people. Buggies are best for youngies or not so sures. Most quads are manuals with a few auto. Buggies are mostly auto. We had about two hours. Do take hat, sunscreen etc and sunnies or goggles with a dustmask or kerchief....lots of dust. some tracks are paved some not.We had 4 seperate breakdowns on our trip so we lost 40 mins waiting for replacement units to be ferried out to us, Villagers look like they are pretty used to seeing the bikes 3 times a day 7 days a week
