Now, the pool lounge hogs - not a problem I have ever encountered as I don't use pools in Bali (don't bare this inferior bod in public & besides I have a pool at home & would rather spend my limited holiday time shopping & eating). But it occurs to me that, if pool towel & lounge hogs became bothersome, then I would do something about it in a sneaky, nasty way (being a sneaky, nasty person).
Itchy powder sprinkled on the towels immediately springs to mind - very Three Stooges-ish (not sure where you'd get it but maybe the Magician's Club near Bemo Cnr could help out?) Very hot chili powder might work. A nasty bug? Tell your hotel staff that you'll pay their kids good money for bugs. Put one in each towel & hide behind a palm tree with camera. Whoopee-cushions (apologies to M).
