if you think it will spoil your holiday then you know the answer to that one. We went with our 2 girls 1 week after the 2nd bombing. Yes we really did think about it but went with the attitude of if we felt unsafe we would move to somewhere quieter. Most of the time was spent in Legian at jayakarta, the beach, day trips. No crowded area (it was so quiet is wasn't an issue) the upside My 18 year old stayed close so I didn't have to worry about her partying too hard at the crowded places) We had a lovely time. i have been back twice since
